Javascript Enabling

If you have pop-ups request when viewing the website this may be because you have javascript disabled in your web browser

What is Javascript?

Javascript is a scripting language. This lightweight programming language is embedded into the HTML (hypertext markup language) of a web page.

Javascript is supported by all of the modern browsers, including newer versions of Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla, Firefox and Opera. It is a way of adding dynamic content to a website, allowing more interactivity than is possible with static HTML pages.

Javascript MUST be enabled to view this site in its entirety.

How do I enable Javascript?

Why do some people disable Javascript?

There is some concern that the Javascript language can be a security threat, since it consists of small programming code running in the background.

However, almost anything downloaded from the internet can potentially be a security threat!

The best way to be safe while not overly restricting your web experience is to use tools such as virus checkers, firewalls and spyware/adware eliminators - and keep them up to date!

Also, ensure your operating system patches are current ( eg. regular Windows updates).

Reservation Conditions
Children

Our guests come to relax in the peace and serenity that Blanket Bay affords. We therefore regret that we cannot accommodate children under the age of thirteen years. An exception to this condition is made when one group books the exclusive use of the resort.

Non-smoking

The well-being and comfort of all guests at Blanket Bay is important to us, therefore we have a non-smoking policy that applies to all our buildings.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy

Blanket Bay is a small exclusive resort and cancellations affect us greatly. A current credit card number with expiry date is required to confirm a reservation. If the reservation is cancelled fewer than thirty days before your visit, a charge of one night’s tariff will be made. Due to our remote location a last-minute cancellation gives us little chance of filling the space. Should we receive less than seven days notice of a cancellation we will charge for every room night booked. Naturally we will endeavour to re-book the space and if successful a refund will be made. In any event we strongly advise guests to take out travel insurance to protect themselves against unexpected changes to their travel plans. Blanket Bay is available for private family or corporate gatherings. Please inquire. All tariffs are quoted in New Zealand dollars and are subject to 12.5% government Goods and Service Tax.
