Stand on the very top of mountains amid breathtaking scenery, touch the ancient ice of a glacier as well as chase the waves on an isolated West Coast beach. See the sights of world-famous Milford Sound, including the second highest waterfall in the southern hemisphere, the Sutherland Falls, and the Mackinnon Pass.

By light aircraft with Glenorchy Air 'Fly/Cruise/Fly'

From the Glenorchy airstrip, just two minutes from Blanket Bay, Glenorchy Air flies you to Milford Sound where you join one of the Milford Sound cruises, which depart throughout the day. The boats cruise the full length of this world-famous fiord – to the Tasman Sea and back to the wharf at the Milford Sound Visitor Centre. By flying with Glenorchy Air you will avoid the tour bus crowds which arrive from Queenstown in the middle of the day.
