Blanket Bay Commis Chef, Joseph Clarke wins New Zealand Commis Chef of the Year 2007

The New Zealand Culinary Fare is the top event on the hospitality industry calendar where New Zealand's top chefs, waiters, sommeliers, baristas, butchers, and restaurants battle it out for coveted national titles in dozens of competition.
This week Joseph Clarke, the resident Commis Chef at Blanket Bay Lodge recieved a major award at the 2007 The New Zealand Culinary Fare. At only 19 years old he has won the New Zealand Commis Chef of the year award.
He now goes to Dubai to represent NZ the World Junior Chefs Challenge in May 2008.
