In the Australia and South Pacific region, Blanket Bay was nominated number #1 Hotel as the best value for money. Huka Lodge in Taupo was nominated in 2nd place.

The Conde Nast UK Readers Travel Awards 2005 featured the Readers Top 100 Hotels across 5 continent regions.
