Wyuna is a sheep, cattle, and deer farm, historically a part of the original Rees station that occupied the entire eastern side of Lake Wakatipu and beyond.

Situated at the base of the Richardson mountains, the station enjoys magnificent west facing views across Blanket Bay, and over Lake Wakatipu to the Humboldt mountain range. There are expansive lake views to the north with breathtaking vistas that take in the Dart and Rees valleys, Mt. Alfred and Mt. Earnslaw.

Blanket Bay Lodge sits in the centre of Wyuna's western border. Because of its special relationship with Wyuna, our guests enjoy access to Wyuna and the activities available on the property. Go horseback riding along the lakeshore, mountain bike up the Mt. Judah road, stroll over the farm, or rediscover the historic scheelite mines on Wyuna, gold was also mined on the farm in the 1860's.
